Ravindra Kaushik was born in Sri Ganganagar, Rajasthan. How his destiny get a turn was unimaginable, from a theatre artist to a spy in Pakistan. Ravindra Kaushik was a famous theatre artist whose talent was a gem. He acted at a national level dramatic meet in Lucknow and there, his acting was noticed by officials of Indian Intelligence Agency, RAW and there it all started. The officials from Indian Intelligence Agency contacted him after seeing his acting and the performance and few hours later, he was a spy of the RAW. The very first job that Ravindra Kaushik was offered was about to change his destiny, a job of being an Undercover Agent of India in Pakistan.
When other people decide what would be their goal in life, Ravindra Kaushik took a big step that changed the course of his entire life. He was to be sent to Pakistan on a mission as a spy and things started.
He was sent to Pakistan with a new name- Nabi Ahmed Shakir, while all his records in India was destroyed. He later completed his LLB from Karachi University and joined Pakistan Army and became a commissioned officer. Eventually, he was promoted to the rank of a Major.
From 1979 to 1983 he passed on critical information to the Indian defense forces which were of great help. Because of the valuable information being sent by Nabi Ahmed he became famous as ‘The Black Tiger’ in Indian defense circles, a name conferred by the then prime minister Indira Gandhi herself.his sacrifice AND dedication will inspire and motivate coming generations of India …my SALUTE goes to the India’s real hero and THE BLACK TIGER OF INDIA….
I am being a bit optimistic but India’s population will start to decrease by 2030 or 2035. I have considered following assumption for the above conclusion.
- The projected fertility is a bit above the actual and will decrease faster than expected due to awareness. I think its somewhere near to 2 right now.
- Decrease in fertility rate itself can’t make the population stable as momentum of increasing population can carry the population growth to next 30 years if remain at replacement fertility rate. Replacement fertility rate for India will be near to 2.3 (more than the US rate 2.1 ).
- Fertility rate will have to go below 1.5 for the above conclusion.
The increasing awareness among people and education will help in achieving this rate.
(My prediction is based on assumptions… )
Swami Vivekanand:- I can’t find free time. Life has become hectic.
Ramkrishna Paramahansa:- Activity gets you busy. But productivity gets you free.
Swami Vivekanand:- Why has life become complicated now?
Ramkrishna Paramahansa:- Stop analyzing life.. It makes it complicated. Just live it.
Swami Vivekanand:- Why are we then constantly unhappy?
Ramkrishna Paramahansa:- Worrying has become your habit. That’s why you are not happy.
Swami Vivekanand:- Why do good people always suffer?
Ramkrishna Paramahansa:- Diamond cannot be polished without friction. Gold cannot be purified without fire. Good people go through trials, but don’t suffer. With that experience their life becomes better, not bitter.
Swami Vivekanand:- You mean to say such experience is useful?
Ramkrishna Paramahansa:- Yes. In every term, Experience is a hard teacher. She gives the test first and the lessons afterwards.
Swami Vivekanand:- Because of so many problems, we don’t know where we are heading…
Ramkrishna Paramahansa:- If you look outside you will not know where you are heading. Look inside. Eyes provide sight. Heart provides the way.
Swami Vivekanand:- Does failure hurt more than moving in the right direction?
Ramkrishna Paramahansa:- Success is a measure as decided by others. Satisfaction is a measure as decided by you.
Swami Vivekanand:- In tough times, how do you stay motivated?
Ramkrishna Paramahansa:- Always look at how far you have come rather than how far you have to go. Always count your blessing, not what you are missing.
Swami Vivekanand:- What surprises you about people?
Ramkrishna Paramahansa:- When they suffer they ask, “why me?” When they prosper, they never ask “Why me?”
Swami Vivekanand:- How can I get the best out of life?
Ramkrishna Paramahansa:- Face your past without regret. Handle your present with confidence. Prepare for the future without fear.
Swami Vivekanand:- One last question. Sometimes I feel my prayers are not answered.
Ramkrishna Paramahansa:- There are no unanswered prayers. Keep the faith and drop the fear. Life is a mystery to solve, not a problem to resolve. Trust me. Life is wonderful if you know how to live.
Any Person can make you realise how wonderful the world is..!
But only few will make you realise how wonderful you are in the world..!
China’s newspaper in the starting discussed US secretary’s speech
“The US Secretary of State, Rex Tillerson, is going to visit India after making a speech about the relationship between the US and India at the Center for Strategic and International Studies in Washington on Wednesday. Tillerson said, “India and the US must foster greater prosperity and security with the aim of a free and open Indo-Pacific,” pointing out that India is a responsible democratic nation.
Meanwhile, Tillerson criticized China’s diplomacy on South China Sea issues and indicated the US would “never have the same relationship with China, a non-democratic society.”
He also mentioned so-called “predatory economics” and untransparent infrastructure construction investments. He claimed that US and India cooperation could guarantee the Indo-Pacific increasingly be a place of peace, stability and growing prosperity – so that it does not become a region of disorder, conflict and predatory economics.”
According to newspaper ,US secretary’s speech made China uncomfortable
“Tillerson’s address made Beijing uncomfortable and it sent a bad signal ahead of US President Donald Trump coming to China next month. “
The relations build by hard efforts from both sides. India has never allowed anti China powers at its gate but at same time China has been stimulating anti India power (pakistan)and yet China advising India about right diplomacy!see how here
“Although Beijing and New Delhi hold different opinions on border issues, Indian strategists should go for independent diplomacy and strategic autonomy instead of opposing China. Based on forecasts by the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development and other international organizations, China and then India will replace the US to be the world’s largest economy in the next decades. Stable relations between these three rather than confrontation between China and India are beneficial to the whole world.”
Independent foreign policy ,strategic independent thinking is in india’s DNA. India will only work with USA within its realm of interest. Just observe how India is maintaining a fine balance with the countries who are poles apart (rather enemies) e.g USA – Russia, Israel – Iran. The only reason India will form any alliance (as an equal partner) with USA is because of continued tirades of China against India where China actively undermines genuine Indian interests like actively supporting Pakistani terrorists, resisting India’s entry to NSG, aggressively patrolling in Indian Ocean near Indian shores, defying border status quo without respecting any bilateral agreements.
If any country will support anti Indian forces then appropriate and suitable answer will be given all options are available.and independent foreign policy as well as independent strategic thinking is in India’s DNA.
We don’t really get to hear or read much about them. They operate in the shadows to make sure we are safe from forces conspiring against us.From foiling evil terrorist plots to maintaining the secrecy of major nuclear programmes, Indian intelligence agencies have always proved their mettle. RAW or Research & Analysis Wing is India’s primary foreign intelligence agency, which was formed in 1968 with Rameshwar Nath Kao as its first chief.
MOTTO OF RAW
1. Operation Smiling Buddha
Smiling Buddha was the name of India’s nuclear program. RAW was given the task of keeping the entire operation under wraps. This was also the very first time that RAW was asked to get involved in a project inside India. Finally, on 18th of May, 1974, India successfully tested the 15-kiloton plutonium device at Pokhran and became a member of the elite group of nations who were nuclear ready. Not only was the operation carried out without any critical roadblocks, but even the intelligence agencies of countries like the USA, China and Pakistan were taken by surprise when the nuclear device was tested
2) Operation Meghdoot
Operation Meghdoot is a perfect example of how keeping one’s eyes and ears open can save a number of lives. RAW received a tip from a London-based garment company that had supplied Arctic weather gear to the Indian troops for the Northern Ladakh region. The company informed them that Pakistan too, had bought very similar gear.
RAW intercepted vital information that proved Pakistan was planning an incursion in the Siachen glacier. The information helped the Indian Army take control of Siachen glacier before Pakistan. India eventually dominated in all the major peaks in Siachen
3)RAW was able to place a spy as a ‘Major’ in the Pakistan Army – ‘The Black Tiger’ Ravindra Kaushik
Ravindra Kaushik, was a famous theatre artist in his earlier days. He was spotted by RAW officials during one of his dramatic meet and was contacted and offered the job of an undercover agent. In 1975, he was sent to Pakistan where he managed to join Pakistani army and rose to the rank of ‘Major’. Kaushik was instrumental in saving thousands of Indian lives and gave invaluable information to the Indian intelligence agencies. He was conferred the title of ‘Black Tiger’ by RAW
4) Operation Leech
Myanmar was always a tricky area for the Indian intelligence. Especially because of the dense forests being surrounded by the Arakans (ethnic people of Myanmar). India wanted to promote democracy and help put a friendly government in the region. For this, RAW established Burmese rebel groups and pro-democracy parties in the region, like the Kachin Independence Army (KIA). India allowed KIA to carry out trade in jade and precious stones. They even gave out weapons to them. But when relations with KIA turned sour and it became a source of training and ammunition for north-eastern rebel groups, RAW initiated Operation Leech. Their mission was to assassinate the Burmese rebel leaders as an example for other rebel groups that conspired against the welfare of Myanmar and India. In 1998, six top rebel leaders were shot dead and 34 Arakanese guerrillas were arrested the account of gunrunning in the country.
5) Operation Chanakya
During the testing times of violence in Kashmir, RAW was given the task of infiltrating various ISI-backed Kashmiri separatist groups and restoring peace in the beautiful valley of Kashmir. RAW not only managed to successfully infiltrate the area, but also evidence of ISI’s involvement in the training and funding of Kashmiri separatist groups in the valley. Peace was restored, and the operation also marked the creation of pro-Indian groups in Kashmir.
